Cold Chain Vehicle Solutions Ltd was created shortly after the Millennium by its founder Paul McKay. It has now grown from its origin into the holding company for 3 online branded companies – they being Vans2Go.net, Cars2Go.net and Cold2Go.net. Its intention from the outset being to help and support business’s in their drive for ease of vehicle mobility.

The business is based around Buckinghamshire and has developed fleet arrangements with clients of around 4000 vehicles under its management.

With the business base expanding since its inception, Paul McKay has constantly sought to strengthen Cold Chain’s business base and have the underlying strength of financial suppliers to support its business growth plans. Paul Mckay, having previously worked for large vehicle suppliers including Masterlease, Lex & AWG Plc launched the business around the service needs of the light commercial vehicle industry and evolved into the specialism of fridge freezer needs through customer requirement.

In 2007, after 5 years steady growth, Cold Chain announced 2 strategic changes within its business both aimed at adding tangible value to its operations and for further customer reach. The first was the appointment of Malcolm Topping to the board as Commercial Director having taken a significant shareholding within the Cold Chain Group. With over 30 years experience in Motor and asset finance within HSBC Group, the business now has opportunity to broaden its customer base with wider management experience to call upon. The second development was that of completing a 4 year fleet funding arrangement with a main high street bank. This ensured that Cold Chain Group is able to take advantage of all manufacturer programmes to ensure our customer pricing is at the forefront so allowing us to deliver to our core values of right first time.
